After several rejections I looked into getting my own business. There is a lot more to having a business than you would know unless you are considering one for yourself. For example: There are several expenses before you even make a penny from your business so you more than likely either deplete your savings or go into the red right off the bat. Some of the expenses to think about are:

1) Insurance
2) Government inspectors
3) Government fees
4) Rent
5) Inventory or machinery
6) Employees and workman’s comp insurance for them.
7) Taxes

The type of business that I was considering was an auto restoration and re-sale business. The idea would be to get old cars in need of some work and fix them and sell them for a profit. Having worked for a car dealership shortly after I was laid-off I knew there was a lot of demand for a good, inexpensive used car, but the expenses of running a business to provide the cars was too risky for me.

Are You Caring For Yourself Physically

Okay, we all tend to work hard in our network marketing business and tend to forget about taking care of ourselves. I want to give you a few tips here to keep yourself in the best physical condition so that you can actually perform better.

So, here are three key things:
number one: exercise
number two: rest
number three: nutrition

When you exercise there are two key elements you need for optimal results. They are: rest and nutrition… Not supplying your body with these two elements can be detrimental to your health when attempting to exercise.

You perform better when you are well rested. When were not rested we make stupid mistakes. Our mine does not function as well as when we are well rested. So the first thing is to get a proper rest.

You need to make sure you get 6-8 hours of sleep each night. Remember everybody is different and everybody needs a different amount of sleep, however remember when you work out you do you need more sleep, just keep that in mind.

Give yourself a little break during the day and the best thing for this is to meditate for 15-20 minutes twice a day. This will release stress and refresh you at the same time. It helps to calm the mind and gives your body energy it needs to repair and rebuild itself.

Eat healthy, stay away from fast foods and start eating more organically. Vegetables give your body the proper nutrients it needs to repair your muscles. However, a lot of the food that we eat are grown in depleted soils and therefore lack the nutrients necessary for our body.

That’s why it’s necessary to take high quality nutrition. Liquid ionic nutrition is the best. It is easily absorbed. If your network marketing company is a nutrition company then you know what I’m talking about.

It is recommended that you eat more times each day, but smaller portions, like 5-6 times a day or as some people say, every three hours to make sure your get in the adequate amounts of nutrients in your system.

Remember, your body is the vehicle that you use from the time you’re born until the time you leave. If you want to enjoy this life, you must take care of your body. And that’s one of the reasons that we get into a network marketing business is to enjoy life at a higher level and we can’t do that if we’re always sick. So we have to think about staying healthy.

Make sure that you have a mentor, a guide, or coach to help you with your physical body as a well as your network marketing business. Remember, you can even write better when you’re well rested and healthy.

So… here’s a few guidelines for developing your Big Picture Your Big Dream:

1. Making your big picture or big dream starts with your dreams.What do you really want in your personal life, your business life, your relationships, and your spiritual life. Make a list and then divide it into three categories, what you want to Be, Do and Have. Then you have to prioritize your be, you are do, and your have to get the most important dream in each category.

2. You have to think in an unlimited way. and let go of all limitations in your thinking and just allow yourself to dream. All things are possible through the power of your mind and your soul. (conscious mind and unconscious mind)

3. You always want to use the present tense. You have be able to see yourself already living your dreams.  Like saying I am a successful MLM owner rather than I will be a successful MLM business owner. You may not be successful yet, but this is what you’re programming into your unconscious mind.

4. Make your big dream emotional and with feeling and really let emotion fuel your dream. The unconscious mind cannot distinguish between something that actually happens and something that is imagined, so use colorful pictures, emotional words to give your big picture a power.

5.  Always state what you do want, not what you don’t want. If I tell you, Don’t think about a red truck, what do you have to think about, you have to think about the red truck in order not to think about the red truck.

6. You have to be in the picture, picture yourself being a successful MLM entrepreneur. You have to be in your big picture with passion and feeling.

7. Really believe in your Big Picture. Napoleon Hill’s said: Whatever the mind can conceive and believe the mind can achieve.

Make sure you have a mentor, guide, or coach to help you get clear on your purpose in life and your most important dreams.

Often people wrongly refer to this philosophy as a ”pyramid scheme”. In fact, the term pyramid scheme is used so loosely I really wonder if people know what it means. In any licensed Network Marketing company people start out at the same level and have an equal opportunity at success so long as they do 2 simple things. 1) acquire customers to share the products/services the company offers and 2) grow a team of representatives to duplicate your success. You work for yourself by building your own business within a business and have a solid support system from other independent reps whose long-term success is totally dependent on yours. So, people actually help one another, unlike the corporate establishment where people will do anything to step on you if it will benefit them, even in the short-term. Commissions are paid by the Network marketing company and NOT directly by reps in your team or clients you have acquired. This is by no means a “get rich quick” scheme but an endeavour that will require anywhere from 3-10 years of hard work and sacrifice, 5-20 hours per week, so don’t be in any rush to quit your day job unless the residual income from your business is firmly in place. Success awaits those who work very hard and consistently but just as much chance of failure for those who do nothing. Yes, there have been horror stories in this industry but no more than any other.
